Once you've completed the questionnaire, you'll receive a written synopsis of the results; helping to crystallize the style that most closely matches your tastes. Finally, you receive a professional, scaled drawing and photo realistic images of your yard will enable you to see how your finished project will look.

History and cultures have given us many different types of landscapes:

• New American - Straight lines, woods, perennials, no symmetry, colorful
• Early American - Hedges, fences, gardens with herbs and vegetables
• Oriental - Feng Shui, Bowl Gardens, strong symmetry, gravel and stone

You may think that a Southwestern motif would be difficult to achieve in New Hampshire landscapes. However, there are some types of plants that resemble cacti that are hardy in New England climates. There are also ornamental grasses that would lend itself well to this style. Some styles can be blended to create a unique look.
